My Timeline


April 1999
I was born in Rancagua, Chile. I was a premature baby with my twin sister Camila.

March 2004
I began school, kindergarten. There I make very good friends.

November 2009
I had my first dog, her name is Minnie is a puddle toy. That day I was so exited that I remember going to my grandmother's house with my pijama still on just to see my new dog.

May 2011
I started playing volleyball at a club named O.C. I remember I was super exited but at the same time nervous because I was not that good at the time.

April 2012 
I play my first national championship of volleyball. That they we won and they rewarded me for being the best in my position.


February 2014
I went to U.S.A with my twin sister, my cousins and my uncles. We went to Miami, Disney World and New York. It was the best summer ever!

November 2016
I graduated from highschool where I met my best friends. I think senior year was the best of all.






March 2017
I started studying veterinary medicine, it was hard to get into the university but I made it.

Javiera Valenzuela Riquelme was born the April 14th in Rancagua, Chile. She was a premature baby and she had a lot of problems after the birth. At elementary school she studied at Colegio Los Conquistadores in Rancagua. Later she completed her high school studies at Colegio La Republica also in Rancagua where she meets her best friends. Now she's studying veterinary medicine at Universidad de Chile in Santiago. She choose the career beacuse obviously, she loves the animals and she wanted them to stay healthy and happy. Javiera used to live with her parents Carol and Gabriel but now she lives in San Miguel, Santiago with her twin sister Camila, she's studying medical technology at Universidad Diego Portales. Blog Post 2: My opinions

      1) What is your opinion about smart phones?             I  think smartphones are super important now at the time, because with a phone we can do a lot of things like communicate, search information, etc. But I think the social media makes smartphones more important (apps).    2) What is your opinion about soap operas on Chilean TV?                   Soap operas in Chilean TV it’s a “big thing”, especially for women because if we have free time we can watch TV and have fun with soap operas. Also we can watch with friends, comment the episodes  and is more fun. But in general terms soap operas are super interesting.        3) What is your opinion about women in the military?           I agree that women can join the military, women now can do things that after can’t do, and it’s a good thing that exist equality. My favorite things

My Cellphone My cell phone it's my favorite thing, my parents bought it in the summer of 2016 I think. I remember that I told my parents that I want this phone because the other one it was too small and it had not much memory so it was full. Also, my other cell phone didn't have internet so I needed a new one with internet to search things when I was in school. I use it very often, every day to be honest. Sometimes I got distract because the social media and all that stuff, but when I'm in the university I don't use it a lot, at least when I got free time but I prefer to study when I'm in my free time. When I'm in my home I check my apps or social media and see videos on Youtube. Then I told myself that I need to study so I don't use it to focus.
